Great time touring at some incredible historic theatres around the country.

With Greg Hind of the Little River Band at the Lexington Village Theatre

I played up in Lexington, MI. the other night at the Lexington Village Theatre. If you ever have a chance to see a show at this wonderful intimate theatre you must go! It is owned by some great people, Mike and Lanae Kettlewell along with partners Greg & Lisa Hind. Greg is the guitar player for the Little River Band and is super cool. What an enthusiastic audience up there, thanks Lexington for a great evening.

Just added another Frank Marshall Ventriloquist antique dummy to the collection

Here is a really cool Frank Marshall antique Ventriloquist dummy circa 1940’s. I love the face on this one. Frank Marshall made some of the most famous dummies of all time including Jerry Mahoney, Danny O’Day, Farfel and some say even Charlie McCarthy….  His pieces are are considered some of the rarest most collectible pieces today. I have been collecting ventriloquist dummies for over 20 years and I am always looking to add more.   […]

I just came across and old article that was online that I had written about corporate entertainment. Thought it would be fun to share… Hi my name is Andy Gross and I am a corporate entertainer, comedian, magician and ventriloquist. I perform at compay parties, sales meetings, holiday parties and just about any other event companies have where they need good fun clean entertainment. May is the time of year that I begin to book shows […]

March tour is taking me to: HI, MN, WI, IL, UT. and IA.

What a great start to our March tour. Just the other day we played the Campanile Performing Arts Center in Minocqua, WI. It was a great audience and we had a fun time! Thank you Minocqua and Woody Woodruf!

With a McElroy ventriloquist dummy…

Here I am with one of the rarest dummies in the world, a McElroy ventriloquist dummy, very similar to the one I own. It was neat to see and handle another one other than mine. They truly are amazing to see up close and work with. The mechanics and design of these figures are incredible! There was only about 16 of the fully loaded McElroy dummies made with 14 or 15 of them accounted for! […]

Having a great March tour

Well we are getting near the end of our March tour and it has been really amazing. We have played some beautiful theatres both old and new. Some beautiful  historic theatres as well as new state of the art venues. Next stop is Gainesville, FL on the 21st for a one night special event at an intimate comedy club setting. I tour with the great comedian juggler Fred Anderson who has a similar  background as mine, in that we both started and […]
